Hollywood Smile

HOLLYWOOD SMILE is a concept of aligned, straight, and white teeth. This term used to characterize the ideal smile of most celebrities and models, and currently, it has become popular and widespread among everyone. Unfortunately, not every person has naturally perfect teeth, and furthermore, there are many factors that greatly influence the condition of teeth: diet, trauma, stress, medical treatment, oral hygiene. In these cases, the patient comes to the dentist to improve their teeth and regain a beautiful smile.

Currently, in dentistry, there are 2 methods to create a Hollywood smile: placing dental veneers and placing crowns. Both offer the same aesthetic and natural appearance.

The difference between a crown and a veneer is that a crown covers the tooth from all sides (like a complete capsule), but a veneer only covers the front surface of the tooth. Sometimes it is thought that the appearance of a Hollywood smile can be created with simple whitening, but unfortunately, this is not the case. After whitening, the teeth will be a few shades whiter, but in general, it will not change the overall appearance of the teeth much.
