There are situations when a patient is unwilling or unable to replace lost teeth with fixed implants. Then the patient opts for removable prostheses. There are several types of removable prostheses that are used to replace missing teeth.

In case of absence of all teeth, we can offer a complete removable denture. It is a simple denture with acrylic teeth and pink acrylic false gums. The advantages of such a prosthesis are low cost and fast production time (no more than 5 days). The downside lies in its removability; it is not a fixed solution. To keep the denture in mouth, it is necessary to use a special dental glue. In addition, many patients need time to get used to wearing such prostheses.

There are also partial dentures that are used to replace only part of the missing teeth. For patients with partial loss of teeth, we offer a removable partial denture that is aesthetic and comfortable thanks to the slide system (discreet attachment – mini SG system). Advantages of this prosthesis: • There are no hooks which spoil the real teeth and which are visible so the prosthesis is very aesthetic; • Thanks to the slides the prosthesis fits perfectly in the mouth, it does not move when you eat or speak, so it is comfortable to wear; To place this prosthesis, it is necessary to crown several remaining teeth (at least 4 teeth). If you want, we can crown all the teeth that remain so the teeth will be more solid and you will find a beautiful smile because all the teeth will be remade and improved. One anchor is in a crown, another – in the removable prosthesis. This treatment is doable if the remaining teeth are strong and do not move.

It should be noted that the veneers are well suited for 8 well aligned central teeth. If you want to remake more teeth (for example 10 teeth in the jaw) in this case, you must use the porcelain crowns for the other back teeth because you are chewing with these teeth and the veneers will not be strong enough. If your teeth are not straight and well aligned, crowns should also be used to correct the position of the teeth.
